The Municipal Corporation has approved a new road expansion and resurfacing project near the Sheela Bypass area to address increasing traffic congestion. The project aims to widen the main road and repair damaged sections to improve vehicle flow.
Officials confirmed that work will commence next month and is expected to be completed within three months. Traffic diversions may be implemented during construction to avoid inconvenience.
Local residents welcomed the initiative, stating that heavy traffic during peak hours has been a long-standing issue. The project is part of a broader urban development plan to modernize Rohtak’s infrastructure.
Authorities have assured strict monitoring to ensure timely completion of the project.
